·          Micellar Casein is different from other caseins/caseinates because it exists in its natural form (undenatured form which composed of all 5 of the alpha, beta, gamma, delta and kappa caseins), hence more readily digested and absorbed in the body.

·          Other caseinates have been exposed to harsh processes during its production, therefore any one of the five caseins may have been modified or removed, resulting a lower level of bioavailability (absorption).

·          Used as a sustained release protein for up to 6-7 hours due its tendency to turn into gel form in the small intestine and digest gradually, hence suitable to consume before bedtime or during daytime for long-lasting absorption and utilization

Mix 2 scoops (30g) in 200ml – 250ml of water or milk for a thick creamy shake or 350ml – 400ml water or milk for a thinner smoother shake.

Alternatively, it can be added to an existing whey protein blend for the purpose of extending its amino acid release rate.

Recommended intake times would be every 6 to 7 hours throughout the day and prior to bed at night. It is not recommended that Micellar Casein be ingested in place of a rapid acting Whey Protein within the first 1-2 hours after resistance training.
